Sometimes we lose our individual rhythms amongst all the chaos and dramas of life.

My counselling sessions are centred around your needs. We work together to find the time when your rhythm was lost or became so blended with others, you lost your true self. While I am trained in various theories, my aim is to build rapport, a trustworthy professional relationship where we both feel comfortable speaking our truths. The theories will help guide me to the intervention required, to assist you in getting your rhythm back.

My sessions can be held in my private music studio, or on the verandah with countryside outlook, where we can listen to the song of the birds and nature. A walk and talk is also an option.

You will be welcomed with a beverage (non alcoholic) on our arrival and given th choice to take your session where you feel most comfortable. We can even go for a walk and a talk if preferred.

While traditional talk therapy is absolutely an option; you have the choice to relax into your session with a Djembe (African drum) or hand drum, ocean drum, floor tom; or more gentler hand pan or kettle drum.

The physical and mental benefits of drumming come from rhythmic healing. Drumming makes our bodies, brainwaves and energy channels (such as meridians or chakras) vibrate in response. Together with my theoretical studies in Counselling, we are sure to find a healing vibe to help guide you on your journey to healing.

Music is a therapy in itself for many people, getting lost under the headphones; or healing with binaural beats going for a run with music as motivation; to feel nostalgic and as a reminder of the good times.

Studies show that Music as a form of therapy has been proven to assist those living with ADHD; ADD; ASD; Addictions; Anxiety Disorders; Bi-Polar Disorder; Behavioural Disorders; Cognitive impairment; Depression; Grief & Loss; Mental Health Concerns; Suicidal ideations; or just generally lost in which way to turn in life and need a little coaching.

While I am not a registered Music Therapist, I am a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, and if you would like to bring music into your session; I believe you can then take these skills home to continue on your journey of recovery.

I am here to work with you in finding your true self.

I look forward to meeting you.
